Somali Males

It's Gracie again, I just graduated to the Championship cat class from the kitten class. We went to Washington for my last two kitten shows and next we're going to Utah where I will compete against the older cats for the first time. Meet my future mate Giovanni. I think he's soooo handsome! I think he likes me too!

Right now we only have one boy that has long fur. Everybody calls us Somalis and the only difference I've noticed about Somalis is that when we get a bath, we have to sit in a carrier with a hair dryer so we dry out faster. We don't even have to get combed or brushed every day. We have a friend that mom and dad call a rescue. Her name is Millie and when she comes in every day, she ALWAYS gets combed. Her fur is really thick. Somalis just don't have that much long fur, so we are really easy to care for.
