Abyssinians & Somalis, we
have been showing and breeding
since 1997. We occasionally have
traditional colored abys and somalis in our
litters, but we mostly have black silver and blue
silvers. We believe that any cat, just like a person, needs
a healthy mind and soul to lead a happy healthy wholesome
life. Our cats are never caged and have 24/7 access to outdoor runs.
There may be an occasional timeout when there is a disagreemnt over who
that toy belongs to, but never for very long.

Abys and Somalis love to lead a busy lifestyle, so to enhance that, our outdoor runs are aided by visual
and sensory stimulation. We feed birds just outside the perimeters, and they are able to watch the neighbors
and see and hear us working in the yard. Some prefer to spend an entire day outside watching the birds or just snoozing in the sun on loungechairs or padded platforms.

We are members of TICA (The International Cat Association) and show in the Mid-Pacific and Northwest Regions. Lynda is Treasurer for SassyKatz Cat Club and we enjoy working and maintaining our property where the cats can also watch us. Our other interests include old hot rods and quilting. We encourage visits to our cattery with advance notice to make sure that we are not away at a show. Please give us a call ahead of time @ 541-942-9277.
